This is a re-post of a thread I've made a few times before in the past. Doing it again for those of you who are unaware of this.

The June 2003 issue of Computer Arts (# 84), included 3 new plugins from Flaming Pear that aren't available anywhere for free! They are non-expiring, non-restrictive cool little plugins.

"Wreckage" - Trashes your picture and reassembles it. Basically, it messes up your pics in really interesting ways.

"Sphere Warp" - It can take a normal picture of anything, send it through Sphere Warp, and it will distort it so that it will again look (somewhat) normal when I apply it to a sphere in Bryce for fake hdri. Not perfect, but works as a quickie filter.

"Cumulus" - Just the absolute BEST one!! Make real-world clouds, simple as that, and as complex & big as you want to make. Very realistic, and completely customizable.

These plugins should work in most 2D editing applications. (Photoshop, PSP, and I assume in the freeware programs, Dogwaffle and Gimp)

I contacted Flaming Pear about these plugins, because so many people had wanted them. I asked if they were going to be offered on their site anytime;.

Bad news; "No -- Computer Arts has them under an exclusive distribution" (the plugins will never be offered on Flaming Pear's website)

BUT...the good news! They gave me permission to re-distribute them via e-mail (only).

SO, IF YOU WANT THEM;
E-mail me at agentsmith@renderosity.com, using your e-mail that you wish for me to reply to with the .zip of plugins. (572Kb)

I will collect addresses and do a mass e-mailing daily.

NOTE 1 - These plugins may NOT ever be offered by anyone for download in any way on the internet.

NOTE 2 - Macintosh Users - Sorry, although the Mac versions of these plugins are on the CD, I cannot correctly take them off the CD with my OS being a PC. I tried to do so in MANY ways the first time around, and although it would look like it worked to me, the plugins would never actually work for Mac users.

YET, I should be meeting up with a Mac friend of mine in a couple weeks, I'll get them off the CD then, so hang tight Mac users.
