(Poser 4 with a little post work in Photoshop. Credits: The girl is Rubio's wonderful Nagiko character. I really like her long curling hair!) As you can see, the poor default P4 children still do need any kind of proper clothes! I'm aware of similar requests posted in the past, and I know that there are some clothes available for them. But most of them are not conforming, not very fashionable (but that's a matter of taste), and of not so high quality compared to what is available for the adult figures. I also know of Traveler's P4FemToGirl and Jon's P4ManToBoy character, which both are very helpful 'cause they can use the adult's clothes. But in my opionion they look much more adolescent than the default P4 kids. How many images showing nude Poser children can one create before falling under suspicion of doing some weird kind of child porn? Not very much, I bet. (And just in case one of those sh*ty psychos is lurking this site in search of that stuff: You better shouldn't stick your head too far out of your dirt pit, pal!) So, without clothing the Poser children are almost useless! Should all efforts for creating these meshes really be wasted? DAZ/Zygote: You're known as a company which carefully listens to the wishes and suggestions of your customers. How about making some basic dresses for the kids which then can be modified by texture and transparency maps, morph targets, magnets, etc.? That would be a good starting point. I guess, as soon as more images with (dressed) children will appear in the galleries, more modellers may want to create their own stuff for them. Again I plea to all modellers: If you have any idea for children clothes, then please start as soon as possible with it! Almost everything would be welcome. Thanks for reading so far! :: Going off topic :: BTW, it is said that in REAL life almost every two seconds somewhere in the world a child dies. Count it! Now ... now ... now ... now ... At every "now" something absolutely unique and literally invaluable has passed away and is lost forever! Children are our future, the only thing that counts! But way too many have to live and grow up under incredible poor and bad conditions. They are suffering from hunger and illness, they are poisoned with drugs by unconscionable gangsters or with toxic stuff pushed into the air, food, and water by industries, they are threatened and abused by adults or they have to live as abandoned derelicts in the streets and the only way of getting some money or food is to sell their own bodies and souls, they are forced into slavery of labour and/or military service, and all they learn is nothing but intolerance, hate, and violence ... And - that's what frightens and angers me most - many of these things are not only happening in those far, far away Third World countries. No, it is most likely that in your or my hometown some tortured little souls are helpless crying in the dark! Threatened and robbed or even shot down at the schoolyard, belabored and abused by their own parents or close relatives, left alone in the streets every day, becoming the real victim in a case of divorce ... These kids need our help! Children are absolutely depending on adults, not only their parents, teachers, etc. - on ALL of us. And they have great faith in us, at least in the beginning. We shouldn't let them down! Please, if you can spend a few bucks or a little of your spare time to help depressed kids, do it! Do it now! For instance, how about bying a few of those UNICEF postcards, uh? That's just one drink less. Or even cheaper: Next time when you're sitting in a park, a bus, a subway or elsewhere and a child is looking at you - give it a smile! Just that, nothing more. I bet you'll get a sunbeam in reward! Thanks for reading this, too! And my apologies if I did annoy you, but every once in a while I feel I have to stand up and speak for those whose soft voices are ignored much to often. - wal (aka VelvetCat)
