would you guys pls link me to a good - and foolproof -tutorial on ambience and lighting (ambient lighting?)?

hi michael, and thanks a lot! the first link, the one with hundreds of radial lights, is the way i am trying to avoid, but the other has some quite interesting topics. i wish i would be good in internet-searches, i just dont have the patience for it..... so id be happy about any other link you find. thx again... A. ps: my compliment, thats great stuff in your gallery....
