If you reset the head camera to 199 it should give the same results as the main camera.

no answer to your question, but they're very cute IMVHO.

The Head cam centres itself on the head (for obvious reasons..), and therefore rotates around the head, in all directions.
The Main cam doesn't. (again, obviously - it needs to be anywhere you want it..) IIRC, The main cam centres itself on "x=y=z=0" (but I might well be wrong..)
Are you sure that both Cams are in identical positions, and with identical settings? Any tiny difference could cause the difference..
Cheers,
Diolma
And, errm, why does it matter? If you can get the effect you like from one cam or another, go with it:-)) (Edited to show that I'm a real know-it-all -- NOT!)

Head cam ...try 100-110mm ... you may have to pull back just a bit to fit the head in the frame, but its real nice at that setting, and about the best focal length for the head cam

I have never worked with the focal length before (other than on my cameras)and didn't even think about it for poser (I really feel stupid!!! now). After reading you post and then searching for Focal Length here on Renderosity adn then rerendering some of my older jobs with a new focal length...I am going to make 100mm my default Focal Length for everything (just change it depending on what I am going to do) from now on out. I thought my eyes were going, going, going. Thank you all for you comments and help. And Sorry Pakled this is not about a car, but I do have a Pontiac Sunbird, that when it rains, won't start. Any ideas.

I found out about focal length quite some time ago, Poser 4 probably, after i bought Sisters from Dalinise and Stormi...they looked way awesome in their product pics, but when I rendered them, they looked like some weird alien women...I was way disappointed and thought I bought a faulty product. They worked with me for quite awhile until , viola, one of them asked where my focal length was set at. It was default 50mm ... I went to 105 .. and wow .. you can't even begin to describe the difference.
