is there a program that converts a bitmap to an obj file?

Not that I'm aware of unless it's the type of file Canoma can use. Kate

You would have to convert the .BMP file to a vector format with a tracing program. The vector file then could be imported into a 3D modeling program as a cross section. A 3d model could then be extruded and saved as a .OBJ file. Hope this helps Keith W

There's a PhotoShop plugin found at http://www.puffindesigns.com/products/cybermesh.html which allows you to make obj files from any format PhotoShop can read. I'm not sure how useful it it, but it looked promising. Anyone know if this does groups so that we can make Poser figures using it?
