how can I make new morphs with a 3D software such as Amapi for the new generation of millenium 3 characters (laura, luke, pre schoolers, baby 3 ...); the usual method doest not work ; the morphs created always deform the body ? Thanks for an answer . (Sorry for my poor english !) Bonnefond pierre, France bonnefondp@wanadoo.fr

Amapi reorders vertices if I recall. Use another modeler ;) Wings does a nice job and it's free.

hi pierre! sorry to say, but amapi is a bitch in matters of morphing objects that are not made in amapi. it can be done, but it is extremely tricky and difficult, and you need uv-mapper pro. a quick how-to tutorial is insufficient, since i would have to explain posers and amapis import and export options, general file-handling of those apps, tools of uv-m pro, and, and, and....it would take endless hours to write a good tut, plus, since i am no native english-speaker, it is in doubt wether i would be able make it understandable. so id say theres four ways for you: 1. take a look at: http://www.eovia3d.net thomas is very friendly and willing to help. 2. buy uv-mapper pro and make your own experiments > endless hours of disappointments. 3. spend the same time on learning the use of poser magnets. 4. spend your money on a new modeller. best wishes A.

Or download a free modeler that handles .OBJ in a Poser-friendlier way. Wings3D comes to mind.
