Not sure, but the image you have referenced looks a bit to me like it's just two cloud planes above and below the camera and not volumetric at all. I could be wrong. The link is to a tutorial for my favorite mist texture. You can also tweak it a bit (add more texture channels for the density is what I did) and it looks very good.Savage_dragon posted Tue, 07 February 2006 at 1:33 PM
If you have Photoshop or Paint Shop, you can use one of my fav plugins from Ulead called Particle. It works very nicely & has many great effects. ")
