Hello Right in CS am trying use colour replacer tool which makes some colours grey, not all though. I am trying to do white makeup on a native character but white becomes grey, and have used exposure option to try get white just right. You end up with some pink showing now all i want to do is choose a colour and take brush over part picture i need doing, that will come out the colour i want. Now if i use white paint in real life on black painted background i can by using various brush strokes, do it white or just put enough white on showing a little black through. I have other art programs but bloody nora a simple colour replacer that uses colour that works would be real bloody good. Ta

Hmm, not really sure what your trying to do here, maybe some screen shots or something might help;)
I never intended to make art.

Not too sure, myself, but if you want to just change a specific area, two things.... first, are you in RGB mode, or CMYK?.... next, one thing you can do is to lasso-select the area first, then have a go at expanding the percentage.... how "picky' it should be, and see if that helps... the reason I ask about the colour mode you're in is, if you aren't, some of the colours automatically default to grey. lou.
