Has the forum gone green or are my eyes playing up. It is only men who go colorblind isn't it??? Anyway for all the kind people who tried to help me with my import/export problems between Poser4 and Bryce4 Many thanks. I have found and resolved the problem. A few weeks ago I installed a program called '3D Exploration'. Can't remember who makes it but it is a great little app that gives you a windows explorer type interface but for 3D objects and images only (open GL). It must have put something in the registry or over written a .dll but I've uninstalled it and everything is now back to normal. One thing tho'. I now have to pose my figure and parent all the props including the hair to universe before I export. So still 'Meta' WAKE UP. Patch please. Thanks again' Colm...

I'm having a similar problem, when I try to import any poser model with props attached, I get an invalid format message from Bryce4. I can import the poser figures directly, without props, but not with them. I have reinstalled, and it still does it. Does anyone else have this problem?

Tanker, That is exactly the same problem I had. 1: If you have a program called '3D Exploration' I suggest you uninstall it. 2: Pose your figure and save it. Individually select each and every prop including the hair and parent them to universe. When the hirearchy editor comes up on export deselect ground. It's up to you if you want to save this version of your figure. I suggest if you do. Save it as another file name. That did it for me after days of frustration. Good luck Colm...

Hey Colm... I've never came across 3D Exploration and I still have problems now and then. Anyway, thanks for the tips.

Colm, thanks a bundle, I can now export to Bryce using that procedure. -Tanker
