I have done a lot with James and have the Ultimate Head Morph package for him purchased at RDNA. I can transform James into many different looks. There is a small body of textures for him. I can purchase Koji for $19.99 right now at CP, and am considering doing it "just to have one character." Unless I missed it, there is no add-on face morph pack for him, he has only the limited expression morphs that come with him, right? Not to mention no/few textures. [Hair and clothes are not an issue, with WW and tweaking skills I can steal from all other figures.] Are there any Koji users here who can answer: Do the James textures work on Koji? Do the James Ultimate Head Morphs work on Koji? Is there a Koji facial morph pac I don't know about? Is Koji basically James with a default texture that makes him Japanese in facial appearance? Thank you, ::::: Opera :::::

1)James textures work on Koji 2)Head morphs do no work, the head is new, and different geometry. Only the body is the same. That's also why Koji still (in spite of earlier promises) doesn't work in the face room. 3)If you find a face morph pak for Koji, please let me know :o) 4) Yes and no. Same body (slightly tweaked) but new head. He does wear James' clothes and he comes with 5 or 6 hairdos. Although his facial morphs at first seem limited, he is capable of a LOT of expressions, perhaps not quite as many as Miki, but close. He has no erection morph, but it's easy to "steal" James' with Morph manager, should you need it.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

LOL, erection morph not needed but thanks for the information! On the included morphs, I do not doubt I can get all the expression needed from them, that is not the problem; without extensive face STRUCTURE morphs, I can't make him into other characters unless I go into second gear and pursue magnets or make my own morphs. He is still worth getting for $19.99, I guess, if only for a one-time character. ::::: Opera :::::

Koji has his own products - coming on stream, but slowly, so it appears. I have whinged enough to CP about his face morph pak. Let's hope they get moving on Koji. He's quite a nice figure to use.

There's still hope that he MIGHT some day be face room compatible. Actually I can't understand why he isn't by now. If I was one of the many japanese Poser users I would demand it! Then again, there's a slight difference in the japanese and the non-japanese version of Koji. There's a slight problem with transferring some of James' FMB's to Koji. Most work, but a few doesn't.

my intuition is that Koji will catch on. Miki is doing better than I thought she would. We need that face morph pac, though. When I get him, i'm going to try PhilC's faceputty thingie on him. ::::: Opera :::::

He is one of the most expressive charactes I have seen - more so than James. I also read in this forum once a good explanation of why he is a excellent model of an Asian. I don't recall the technical details, but the gist of it was that they did not take James and just reposition the eyes (like has been done with Michael. Koji's whole head is new. THe Isador texture now comes with some additional textures for Koji so you can give him some body hair and other facial hair. I love having both of these.
