Hi. I'm creating a space alien in 3d using a program called wings3d and eventually want to use it in DS. I have used book props in DS for another animation and like how I have control over making the book open and the pages turn. When I finish my space alien do I need to do something specific to make its arms and legs and eyes etc be able to move, or will DS set this all up when import the model? Just so you know I am really new to DS (I have poser 6 and find it really difficult compared to DS) and still just a newbie in wings 3d too, although I have used Bryce for 10 years now. Also it will probably take me another week or two to finish modeling my space creature as it is rather difficult. Thanks for all your help. Sincerely, David p.s. Does anybody know when DS will be able to import animations into Bryce 5.5?

At the moment you'd need to use Poser to add the posability to your figure (and you'd need to make sure you set the model up with goups foe each part you want to move). We all hope there will be rigging tools for D|S, but nothing has been said about when (or if) they will appear. You'll probably never be able to load figure animations into Bryce 5.5 - it doesn't support the features needed for joints to work. It is a popular feature request for a future version, but I don't think anything has been said about whether it could appear in bryce 6, or later, or at all.
