Ok so my poser6 is working fine, then I go away for 5 days, come back and the hard drive its on goes on the fritz. It's saved but now Poser wont load. It says it has an error in the /python22.dll file. Ok so I uninstall and reinstall. Now I'm getting a different error. It load poser6 but then it pops up a box that says, 'unable to initialize python'. Anyone else have this problem?

I had a very similar problem, originating from a virus. Reinstalling didn't help because the virus'ed DLLs were somehow protecting themselves from the installer. The Installer believed it was copying everything new, but it wasn't. Had to eliminate all of the Poser directory, set up a new directory in a new place, and then re-install fresh. Might not be the same as your problem, but it certainly sounds the same!

Yeah I ended up reinstalling totally onto another drive. Working like a dream again. Thank you for your reply though, I was wondering if maybe it wasn't a virus. I'm guessing it might've been now.
