Hi,
I'm new to poser and have poser 4 with the pro pack. Could someone tell me how to render a model against a transparent background please? In bryce for example I can render in full colour and then create another "Mask" render. Then in something like paint shop pro I can apply the mask thus enabling me to create an image that contains just my model on a transparent background. Is there a way to do this in poser?
Many thanks,
Tim

Yeah- render like normal- then save as a png file :)

save as a tif & the alpha layer will be created automatically, then open the tif in your image editor. (png's also save the alpha layer but i don't know if propack has that option)

Yes, ProPack can render to .png, in opposite to "pure" P4 (Poser Artist). A real blessing for people doing layered compositions like myself ;-)

Uhm, just a question... can Photoshop 7/CS import or open .png? LS
