Thought maybe some of you might find it fun to try out a mirrorscape or two. Fun for the whole family! lol Anyways, for the curious I've come up with minu tute. I find it fun to see what creatures you can find by just mirroring an image.

And here is a cropped and mirrored section of it, inverted and edited a little. Kinda reminds me of a snowy mountain cliff face. Great idea fuzzy!

Here's another one...less postwork this time. It is a photo of the same tree trunk and the original photo is in the "More Texture Challenge Discards" thread if you want to compare the two. Fun idea...I should play around with it more. Thanks for reminding me about it. =]

I just had to join in too! This is a photo of a magnolia (Japanese or Chinese...not sure). Anyway, I see an evil face in the middle....I may have found a new hobby! lol

Yes...sooooo fun! Okay....I have to do one more. I can't leave poor Daemon up there as the last one, lol I did the other side of this oak pic first....but it looked a little.....well.....too much like something that I shouldn't post. LOL So here is the side that is not suggestive. ;)

Cool branches! You've got me curious about the other version though, lol!

Here is another double mirror. I call it the leather shoelace mandala. The central pattern was made through oversharpening in just that area. Oops, crossed your post Andreas (like what's new). Yes, please join..we've missed you! BTW, my son was the frog face, my daughter the yodeler. ;]

Hey Kort, that is pretty dang cool! Andreas.....join in! I want to see what you come up with! As for the other mirror of that oak, it might just be me who sees something....well, a bit risque.....so it might all be in my mind, which is obviously laying in the gutter. lol Okay, so here it is. If you look at the very top, I see two eyes and a mouth....if you look in the middle, I see a spider with all the legs. What do you see? Okay, I have to quit for now....I'll be back later with more I'm sure...so addicting! :)
