Ok, I have probably missed somthing in the "click 3 buttons" auto conversion part. I am converting a V3 top to fit Laura 3, in CC it all looks fine, no errors, I get a new OBJ and CR2 file in the correct folders. I see the new top inside poser, if I click it asks if I want to load the top so Poser sees it just fine. Problem is, it never apears , hourglass tells me it's reading and loading, but no it's just not there ! Help anyone ?

Try importing your converted OBJ into Poser from File > Import > Wavefront OBJ (uncheck all the boxes in the import dialogue). That will tell you if the problem is with the geometry, or with the CR2.

Looks a bit wrinkled but seems fine, so problem is in the CR2 file you think ?

Most likely. I've never used CC, but I assume the wrinkling is a by-product of the conversion process. If you have a similar garment for Laura, try using the CR2 from that - edit a copy to point at your new OBJ, and see how that goes.

browsed thru the CR2 file, one thing striking me are references to V3 makeup JPG maps, trying now to use a BLANK Orig character, the shirt is a V3 shirt and I used a V3 with makeup and such ( no morphs though) as the oregin CR2

Ok think this might be one part of the problem in the new CR2 I get alot of the folowing ":Runtime:textures:HandspanStudios:Laura:Emeli_Body.jpg" } nodeInput "Auto_Fit" { name "Auto_Fit" value 0 0 0 parmR NO_PARM compared to another CR2 of a similar, I find no references to body textures, mind you I am no wiz when it comes to CR2's

Viola ! that fixed it, I used a blank DONER instead of defaulting to the target char, now I just need to fix the wrinkled fit lol Thanks :)

Try using either the original Laura character or a similar piece of Laura's clothing as the donor for saving.
Use a blank V3 for the source figure before converting.
As an aside here, for grins, you can use the program to modify or permanently morph a characters .obj file by loading the character in as the clothing file and saving the .obj file. You'll want to backup your obj file before trying this.

Yes I kinda figured that after a few trials and errors trying to get acustomed to the modifying bits now since the conversions tend to garble some clothes. I will give that a try and see what comes out in the other end lol Thanks
