I am just curious if there are any other renderers available for Bryce 5 other than the standard default renderer. Also how does one tweak the renderer in Bryce? I am more of a 3DS Max kind of guy and am just kind of curious as to how I can achieve a better render than what I am used to when I hit the button.

"any other renderers available" - No. Basically, when you hit render, (as long as you have activated the aa), that's what the "quality" is. Further in, Bryce does have setting for throwing more Rays per pixel at the scene, which is great for bringing out detail in small fine mesh parts and patterned textures or for reducing grain in renders using True Ambience. The highest render setting is reserved for when you use attributes such as True Ambience, Blurry Reflections, Blurry Transmissions, and Depth Of Field. All with variable rays per pixel so test renders can be done before the final one. AgentSmith

Ahhh... Thanks for the input. How would I go about adjusting those settings, I was playing around on Bryce a few moments ago and I just figured out the whole AA thing you mentioned, but the other things haven't crossed my path yet.

Click the bottom most grey upside-down triangle and from the drop down menu select Render Options.

The other thing to remember which isn't a render option but affects image quality is the volumetric world and shadow settings in the sky lab.....

And which will make your computer fall on its knees and promise to be a better machine if you'll just stop it.
