Might also be a play on a little thing the upcoming Windows Vista can do...use a thumbdrive's space to be allocated as your virtual (swap) memory. MUCH faster than having anything access the swap file while its sitting on a hard drive. AgentSmith

Gigabyte already sells a PCI card, that holds up to 4Gb of DDR ram, that in turn shows up on your computer as a seperate lettered drive. You can use this "drive" as your virtual memory OR...even to install your OS or any programs on it, as it is continuously powered by a battery when your PC is turned off.
