Interesting...wouldn't suprise me if it showed up as "read only"...but just for grins I filled out the info. Let you know if 6-8 weeks.

Might also be a play on a little thing the upcoming Windows Vista can do...use a thumbdrive's space to be allocated as your virtual (swap) memory. MUCH faster than having anything access the swap file while its sitting on a hard drive. AgentSmith

Gigabyte already sells a PCI card, that holds up to 4Gb of DDR ram, that in turn shows up on your computer as a seperate lettered drive. You can use this "drive" as your virtual memory OR...even to install your OS or any programs on it, as it is continuously powered by a battery when your PC is turned off. The data transfer speeds involved blow any hard drive on the planet AWAY. I'm telling you, its a piece of our computing future...flash memory hard drives. (I'll call it) AS

Claymor-- Yeah, probably read-only. Still, can't hurt to try, I suppose... it's not as if Microsoft loses more money by actually giving us a useful product for once in this instance, since they don't actually TELL us it's read-only. (fingers crossed)
