The Astronomy Picture Of The Day for yesterday, 3/1/06, was an illustration designed by Clifford Pickover. I thought you might like to see it. If you scroll down and find the link to the Archive, you can see lots of Astronomical images from many sources.Fractals will always amaze me!

That's COOL, Viv! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to revisit what has to be one of the neatest websites I ever found. It had been a LONG time since I'd gone back and it's great to see Dr Pickover's still as wild and quirky as ever. Rick
