Onslow ( ) posted Thu, 02 March 2006 at 4:36 PM ยท edited Mon, 08 July 2024 at 11:38 AM

I have chosen 'Spring' as the theme for March's challenge. I have deliberately left it as open to interpretation as possible to encourage as many people from all different forms of art to participate. So please have a go, join in, your entry can be anything that relates to the word 'spring'. I am looking forward to seeing the entries and learning more with each one I see. Good luck to everyone and have fun ! Richard.

good idea Richard and it allows freedom of expression

I add an obvious capture related with the common interpretation of the word Spring (season of the year) .................. :)

And we have at least 2 months before that happens..... #:O(

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Thanks Onslow. @ Zacko....the beautiful thing about this arena is that it is for everyone. That's most of the fun of it, seeing how people interpret a theme in their own particualr app of choice. Everything goes, photo, 2d, 3d, fractal, written word. Makes foe a hell of a choice when it comes to decision time! :-)

@ TwoPynts. Is there any chance of a higher res version of the photo of desert roses. I actually only want to pull it apart and use one or two petals. I have a habit of makind fairy dresses from flower petals you see, and don't see many of those ones here in UK. My othe half thinks I am strange when I pull the petals from flowers and put them under the scanner, but I can work from phot's as well.

Beautiful visions of spring, all those wonderful flowers you have posted here. I am still sitting in snow and cold, well not just here and now :-), not by my computer, but outside the winter doesn't let us out of his grip. -10 to -20 degrees C outside at night and much snow. So I can just dream....
