Looking through my rendered images directory on my hard drive... I found a graphic from when I was working on one of my first texture maps. I had just gotten the Zygote NYW model, and was playing with that and downloading all those new morphs (and hair) from the forum.. And when I rendered this image straight out of poser I thought, "Wow! Nothing could beat this!" and called the image "photoreal.tif"... So here I sit, with the wisdom of two and a half months of Poser... rending images... and thinking, "Gee... It just can't get any more realistic that THIS!".. and then I pause.. and wonder what the future will bring. I don't know about you... But I'll bet it's going to be amazing... Happy Posing!

The future is now, my friend. I think most of us are just starting to realize the true potential of this amazing program called Poser 4. Be good. Radart.

Hmmm...I dunno... Something about the May 29th image really grabs me. To me, it seems much less "Poser-like". Superior eyes & mouth! catchyalater =T.

I asked one of the guys from Digital Domain exactly how close we were to having "Virtual Actors" in 3D that looked real... he said Right NOW! Knowing how fast this industry moves, and currently, how small the market is (it's very small) that we're gonna see huge advances on our end of the market ("Low End") as this stuff begins to filter down to us... we shouldn't have to wait too long...

Texture mapping and the shape of face is impressive. That eagle nose look familiar to someone I know. If you get rid of that eagle nose maybe the whole face will look beautiful. You might need to adjust some lip morph, the right and left corners. If you done this, you might will have the best and very realistic look female character. :-)

I couldn't resist. It got more realistic. Here is from 2002.

Ok, that was rude of me to use Judy. Here's a different 2002.

Heh - I'd put this on my iPAQ PocketPC in early 2002, when I first managed to put a very early version of Familiar Linux on the thing.
