I thought, why not? And amazoned it and found a copy of C5 pro @ $299!! It's from amazon's actual store so I can trust them! BTW: I used to work there, and while it was HE[[,I know that their CEO was in the trenches in the grunt dept himself!

It probably an upgrade version from C3, C4, or C5. Same price as Eovia's store.

I am sober in mind enough to take the important, and intelligant suggestion, to make sure it IS an acual copy, not just an upgrade...I guess the saying might be true...It might be too good..As I said, I'll email them on monday..

Eovia only sells upgrades direct. If you are finding a price that low on Carrara 5 Pro, it is likely pirated software because that price is far below actual reseller cost. Buyer beware. Regards - Bob Stockwell Director, Sales and Marketing Eovia Corp.

Perhaps they are closing it out? I can't see a huge company like Amazon selling pirated software... But I also noted that shipping time is 1 to 2 weeks, suggesting they don't have it in stock? Paul

Yeah, I thought it must be an upgrade, too. Which is why I bought Carrara 3 full for $50, then bought the upgrade to C5Pro from Eovia. I've been wondering about that Amazon price, though. Seems like something is up.
