Don't know if this is possible, but would any of the morph gurus like to try this one?Foxhollow posted Wed, 18 August 1999 at 6:59 AM
I've had 7 of 9 in my mind as a project for some time, thou someone did do her awhile ago. The eyepiece..and other fixtures..were done on the texture map. A morph is probably not the way to do this as you're stuck with whatever faces are available on the mesh in the area to make it. This should really be done as a prop, which could be built off the head faces to get the right fit. Projects in the works now prevent my starting this up again, but maybe this gives someone food for thought. You pic here IS the best view is this gismo I've seen...

There is not enough geometry on that part of the head to do something like that, you would be better off with a prop. -Traveler

This is the first good picture I've seen of the eyepiece. I may give it a go in Rhino, since it allows you to sketch on a mesh. Drawing the curves directly on the head should allow for a nice fit. If I come up with anything, I'll be sure to post it here on the forum. Mike K

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to play with the grouping tool stuff in Poser 4 and see if I can build a prop that way. Cheers.
