This pic took many hours work. Why well sir Rupert is not a poser point and click wonder but modeled in Wings. Every last polygon. So is the armor the sheild the lance the horse the cacti the dragonfly. My loved ones think i am insane. Anyways I will take a break now for a bit come up for air. Made a new light rig the sun is actually 13 point lights in a pattern makes for some softer shadows but nice and hard near the subject. Also an abient light rig of 8 lights to simulate GI.

Anyways another detail shot of the render. The dragonfly was a lot of fun to make.

Terrific stuff Dann-o! Really unique characters and the cactus looks great. Am I hallucinating,(again, lol) or was this thread locked previously!? I almost IM'd AS to see what that was all about since I didn't see anything provocative or inflamatory.

Well danamo one of my friends here told me that if you drink more than 10 cups of jasmine tea it will induce hallucinations. So have you been into the jasmine tea? I went to sleep so I don't know. (China time) I don't think there was anything provocative or inflamitory. Thanks for the comments everyone. The cacti were much easier to make than they look I plan on doing a tut sometime this week on them.

Yup, it was. No halucinations. I don't drink jasmine tea. The most exotic stuff I use is lapsang souchong. :-) Cute figure. For some reason, reminds me of Don Quixote.

Lol, that must be it! I'm going to cut down on my jasmine tea consumption. I look forward to the tut.
