How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

I hear ya Marlene...I remember strainin' my eyes tryin' to see those damn near microscopic Monkeys swimmin' around in that bowl! The novelty wore off in like 2 minutes, so I made 'em feel like a king & queen! Gave 'em the ROYAL FLUSH! Hey... At least I could throw my PET ROCK...he could even skip across water! THAT was somethin to see! Then one time he didn't make it across and drowned! No worries though... I found a cousin of his hangin around in my backyard...NEW PET ROCK!
