This is molten metal in a pour from the hot crucible at top. The crucible is so bright it blows out detail but the dymanic range of the scene is too much for any exp settings without loosing the molten metal on the way down and on the table. 2000 degree Fahrenheit = 1093 degree Celsius I want to try another..need a break in work to do that with no interruptions! So..this might be it. We will see. Enjoy! The crucible is moving a bit as metal was poured. Shot at about 1/50 sec for this one.

Superbly done Tom :)

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.
