I'm wondering if others have been experiencing a severe memory drag when running Adobe Bridge? My original laptop, a 1.7Ghhz, 1GB RAM began to have problems after I upgraded to Adobe CS2, primarily when I used Bridge. Programs would lock up, and the system slowed down significantly. Last Tuesday I received my solution to the problem. A new 2.6Ghz, 2GB RAM fully maxed out graphics laptop. I paid $5,400 for this and having reinstalled Adobe CS2, have the same problems when Bridge is run. I can run and render in Poser 6 & Lightwave 8.5 like never before... but now my Adobe apps give me problems. Have others experienced a slower system when Bridge is run? Have there been any problems having Bridge, Photoshop, and any webpublishing software like Dreamweaver open simultaneously? What type of solutions might fix my problem (other than stop using Bridge)?
