I'm looking for a net on the stick - the kind with people catch butterflies for example. I have one by JTrout, but it's meant for fishing, and the handle is too short. Searching for "net" here in freestuff gives too many random results :( Thank you in advance for any info :)

This sounmds like a simple use-magnets problem in Poser. (Checks stuff) I think I could have a few uses for that fishing vest as well. But magnets look to be the way to go.

JTrout's fishing net is probably too heavy to be a butterfly net - but if you can't find anything better, here's a handle lengthening morph for it.vilian posted Mon, 06 March 2006 at 9:55 AM
JTrout's net seems a bit too realistic for my project (toonies), but without anything else around, the morph will be more than just handy. Thank you very much EnglishBob !

Butterfly Net (2.37MB zip file)
Sorry about the file-size, but it uses a large transmap. I probably should have tiled the UV-mapping on the net.

Hmmm. I have visions of House Mouse in his gardening attire chasing after butterflies, hehe

LD once again saves someone's life ! (or at least a project). Thank you very very much, wooohoooo ^.^ Nah, no House Mouse this time. For the first time ever someone has bought me something from my RMP wishlist and I have an idea how to use the gift :)

You're welcome.
For those of you with Posers 5-6, you can turn the netting into dynamic cloth. That's how I did the morphs.

It renders beautifuly, LD. And has nice morphs too (make me wish for P6 very badly ;) ). Thank you again. As soon as the pic will be ready I'll put here the link. Off to search all the forums around for some instructions on preventing the crosstalk sigh So many plans, so little time ;)

Speaking of Nets, I'm looking for a Retarius's net to go with the "She Will Rock You - Part 1" outfit by Pretty3D - the type a gladiator would use to entangle their opponent? The outfit has the trident for a retarius, but no net.
Little_Dragon posted Mon, 06 March 2006 at 9:25 PM
Haven't seen one, procchi. Could probably be accomplished in the cloth room, though, even with the weights.
