I am a beginner with Poser and I just recently got Poser 6. For the life of me I seem unable to find any basic tutorials for this program. I see a lot of stuff for the advanced user but next to nothing for the beginner. Am I just looking in the wrong place or should I just slug my way through it (twisting the hect out of my models in the process)?

In addition to those, you can try these too. They are for Poser 5, but the same technique is used to apply items in Poser 6. http://trekkiegrrrl.dk/tut1.htm http://www.poserguide.nimprodaction.com/issues/issue2/cover.htm http://www.poserguide.nimprodaction.com/issues/issue3/cover.htm http://www.poserguide.nimprodaction.com/ http://www.canary3d.com/tutorial/3d-intro.htm http://www.ebonshire.net/tut-posb/index.php http://www.cooltuna.com/poser/poser-tutorials.html http://www.renderosity.com/tut.ez?Form.ViewPages=155&Form.sess_id=52280005&Form.sess_key=1129030101

Since the old Shader node magic tutorial went bye-bye (enmeshed.com is some kind of blog site now) I've gone googling and found bits of it, and sorta recreated it as best I could. Link above. There are some other tutes there as well (after shader node magic disappeared I've started to copy and save those tutes I find for myself there...), and you can pretty much use anything written for P5 in P6. I know most authors don't like when something is copied and I do apologize, but I do put in the full link to the original tute, as well as the author name etc. I hope no one minds about re-creating them there.Silke

Thanks again for these links but... not to be picky.. um, some of them don't work. Silke, that shnarf one seems not to work naymore and I looked through those forums for tutorials but didn't spot 'em. And the good Dr. Your library looks GREAT, but I noticed that some of them didn't load (ie Joint Parameters, Hard & Soft Edges, ect.) Maybe the pics were just not coming up for me? Either way, thanks for posting the help guys.
