Subject: Any advice for a Poser newbie?

I've just ordered Poser 4 online, and before I receive it I wonder if anyone has advice for me in advance on using it; techniques, tips etc. I've used the Poser 4 limited 30-day trial, so I should be a bit more prepared. Thanks

Do the tutorial in the book. Choose a saved pose that is close to what you want, then use the dials to modify it. For a lot of poses you'll want to turn IK off. Save often. Use the memory dots. Read the manual.

And read the archives in this forum. There is a huge amount of useful info burried in here,. Also, if you have any specific problems ask them here. You will nearly always get an answer.

heyas; browse the free stuff and collect goodies! you'll see things you never thought of doing/having in poser. check the tutorial section! learn about transmapping and emc. and conforming.... :) play a lot!
