Full working 30 day evaluation of XFROG- the highend plant making software. NOT easy to learn however- but you can download the nice free plant samples in various formats (not OBJ or 3DS unfortunately)... Also, some new tutorials to help you get started. Interest in mathematics might be useful with XFrog as it is not a simple program to use...Poppi posted Thu, 29 March 2001 at 8:46 PM
Thanks for sharing. I am not good with math. Will stick to Plant Studio, I think.

What formats can you export? Before downloading and learning, it would be a help to know that our final output will be useful, even if the models supplied aren't. Carolly (who has averaging more than 1 new piece of software each month)

BTW, You may want to check this thread. Tesign, who just WON the BBAY Art Contest is an avid XFrog user, and he has some examples and comments about the software that you might find interesting...poserpro posted Fri, 30 March 2001 at 5:13 PM
xfrog seems cool, but it is damn too slow, snail speed is not my type. i prefer TreeProfessional from Onyx, which has fastest speed to render tree in its gui.

Tree Professional is a great program. Do you have it?...
poserpro posted Fri, 30 March 2001 at 6:43 PM
I have it for product review and it is great, Onyx has very good response for my feedback. I also d/ded Plant Studio, it seems cool. BTW, XForg indeed is a cool orgainc/tree generation program as Steve Shans have a review for it. but at first trial, the speed is too slow, but the animation feature is very cool. I have exported both Plant Studio and Xfrog as OBj for use in Bryce, PPP , and C4D.
