I'm fine thanks ;-)
I can't help with your sleeping probs, but just in case you have a blocked-up nose as well;
I discovered that if you do, say, just 10 press-ups (without breathing) - and then stand-up VERY quickly, you'll feel (and hear) the blockage literally 'crackle' into oblivion!

What the heck is a press up? Is that the same as a push up? One benadryl and one gravol= good night sleep David

NyQuil works for me. They say it's because of the alcohol in it, but when I have a cold, whatever works is what I use. It tastes terrible though. LOL

@David
Yup, push-up is the same. I probably used the wrong term.

BTW Scoleman, If you want me to tell you a good old bedtime horror story, just say the word.

The heck with either (nyquil or Tylenol PM) try vodka,......preferably Russian vodka,.......about 3 fingers mixed with a tablespoon of tonic water, every 2 hours until you feel better or pass out, which ever happens first. Tonic water is strictly for hydration purposes.

For colds etc. I like Nightnurse. Both of them (the over-the-counter medcine and the one that comes round and comforts me) :-)) Cheers, Diolma

Nyquil, the sneezy stuffy, knock-you-out-and-leave-you-a-zombie-the-next-day stuff? I've never taken tylenol, so I don't know 'bout that. Agree about the taste, even the cherry stuff would gag a maggot..;)

Tai food and scotch or vodka. Tai food will clear up the blockage and the scotch will put to sleep before the bockage returns. (I am not a doctor but I play one on TV)

Run warm water up your nostrils in the shower. Sounds gross, but it cleans out the sinuses nicely. The other thing I find useful for blocked nose is swimming in the ocean for a while, the salt water clears things out. I have issues because a lot of cold medicines have pseudoephedrine (over here they do, at least), which makes me twitchy and won't let me sleep for about 6 hours.
