Hey guys, im trying making a scene in Vue for a project where there is a animated poser Character driving a Car. If i make the Car the parent of the poser character (link them up) the poser file refuses to go where i want it and ends up flying away off the screen if i move the car :-S does anyone know how to make the animated poser figures and 3d objects in vue connected with out putin them on seperate paths? thanks :-) ps. i noticed this happened on vue 5 esprit too. thanks :)

I'm just guessing (thinking on the fly) since I don't do much with animations, but: 1. Did you try out the animation in Poser? Or only in Vue? 2. Which part of the body did you parent to the car? If it was the whole body, the try parenting the hip (only) instead. Or vice-versa.. Like I said, I know very little about this area. Just repeating some bits'n'pieces I've picked up from these forums in the past. Who knows, it might help..:-)) Cheers, Diolma

If you made the animation of the car driven by the character inside Poser, it's a single pz3, and then I guess the animation should work in Vue, or did you pose a driving character in Poser, animate it, and set up a car animation in Vue? In this case, parenting the character to the car, and not the opposite, should work. I'm only guessing here, since I never tried it. Hope this helps anyway.

Does the flying away happen with simple moves or is it maybe when you scale and/or rotate the car? While the pivot point is way away from the object. This happens from time to time. What you as well can try is to play with the "use quadternion interpolation" setting to see wether it makes a difference. This is related to Poser animation imports.
