(Not the bunny) the christian easter. I'm wondering how to make blood and where to get some nails. It will be a three part image. the cruxifiction, the resurrection, and a symbol of the two. None of these images will have Jesus in them. So the croos, the empty tomb... and a symbol. ANY idea on any of these welcomed. Also on how to make blood on the cross and put nail.s on it

I'd say renderotica.com was probably your best bet for all that type of stuff; they may have what you're looking for in the freebies.

Careful with the image content though, you might get booted-off R'osity if it's inappropriately 'satanic' in some way ;-)

Not sure on the blood, but I would download a copy of Wings 3d. With it you will be able to knock up a nail in about 2 minutes flat.

You do have to be careful sine the crucifixion is mentioned in the TOS. I know of at least one case where a picture of a man on a cross was removed.

I know Zhann, Zhaan...oh the lady with all the cats that is a mod on this forum as a texture freebie that is blood coloured, you could use metaballs to make the blood or do a search on google for some blood brushes for photoshop or paintshop, i know i have seen them somewhere on one of the 3d sites i visit... now thats limits it down to 3, R'sity, 3dcommune.com and..nuh forget the 3rd..no brushes on there..so you have 2 to try. Not being on that is religious i honestly can't see anything being wrong with an image that represents the cruxifiction, the resurrection and a symbol of the two. Its not as if you are going to do an image with the cross placed upside down in it.. Many christians wear a crucifix around their neck..

Draculaz taught me how to make blood with metaballs a while ago.. flatten metaballs and put them where you want the blood stains to be. It works fine on floors, don't know about a cross, but why not?

again thx for all the comments. will try the metaballs. First i cant make humans nor will i try. Its a cross with blood and nails on it. Like i said Jesus will not be in any of my images. Y? because everyone has their own image of him. (he is not blonde and blued, sry catholics). And i dont want hate mail about representing Jesus wrongly. I never learnt how to use wing 3d. Tried it and failed badly. But hey i'll try again. Keep comenting if u want. But i think i have enough stuff to get me going atleast. Also wut sky would make the scene look very bleak and dark?

Whoa wait a minute crucifixion is in the TOS? Um do they consider images of Christ on the cross a violation of the TOS? That does it I am going to do that goofy Daz bunny nailed to the cross now!

Crucifixion images are NOT against Renderosity's TOS, as long as they represent history, religion, etc. But, a massively big-breasted, naked Vicky on a cross? That will most likely get pulled. If the image is a representaion of history and/or religion, then it should be fine. AgentSmith Moderator

AS, why was Alvins pulled? You can see from the external link that it does represent an historical/religious event. The TOS doesn't have the proviso as far as I can see. I'm not really bothered, but something like a TOS shouldn't allow for any creative interpretations.

I am working on an image I call QUEEN OF THE DAMNED. This woman is to say the least, in a less than pleasent situation. It was started in response to all the crap poser images of such things as Angel assassins, Night stalkers, and the like, which are just soft porn babes with gun, swords, etc. The image contains some less than happy imagery, but represents an embodiment of a concept from my artistic point of view. If a sluts-r-us, tits out/naked version is acceptable, why not a more mature version?

Ah, yes, This was a mistake, it should have not been removed. And, from what I have read, a subsequent contact had been sent out for alvinylaya to re-upload it. alvinylaya's image depicts Peter's request to be Crucified upside-down as he did not feel himself worthy to die in the same way as his master, Jesus. This is a historical account, and as such should be allowed. The removal of it had been a mistake. AgentSmith

Well it sure is weird this place.

I was looking through R'ositys Manga galleries yesterday - and you would not 'BE-LEIVE' what I saw.

Personally, I'm rather partial to a 'well-proportioned' naked Vickie in peril.
It seems however, that violence against "naughty-wabbits" is allowed, yet an aesthetic naked Vicky on a cross is seen as unacceptable.

I protest :-D

And in any case, I reckon being pinned to a cross is gonna be the least of Vickies worries; if DAZ ever turns round and tells us that the biggest new improvement to Bryce6, is gonna be a stylish new thong for Vickie!
