Holy shades of Zbrush, batman. Here's the link: http://www.eovia.com/products/hexagon/hexagon2.asp

I've got pre-order in! I've been messing around with Hexagon off and on and have used Carrara (also by Eovia) since v2.0. The $500 sticker price of Zbrush is just a little too high for me. So, I'm looking forward to it! I'm hoping also that the UV mapping functions (especially the "relax UV's") will be pan out to be something good.

I looked at it before, but decided it wasn't a whole $200 better than Wings for the kind of stuff I make. Hex2 might just tip the balance for me. Pity there isn't a demo (or there prolly won't be until the pre-order deal runs out).

Looks quite impressive. Zbrush can do amazing things, but I hate the interface and workflow. Displacement and texture painting in a modeler seems to be the next big thing. Silo 2 will supposedly support it, too. I don't imagine Wings will, though, at least not any time soon. I'll wait for the reviews and, hopefully, some demo versions.
