Subject: A Scanner Darkly 2006 - What software is available to do this sort of thing?

CS = Creative Suite. It includes Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign in such a way that you can move from one to another by the click of a button. Works really well.

Downloaded IllustratorCS last night and had a play.
(No restrictions for 30 days either, you can even save with it) :-D

It's more sophisticated than CanvasV8 - that's for sure. The tracing/vectorizing of images is superb, and that feature which let's you fill non-closed areas, I can imagine - would be a godsend.

Well, I've got 30 days to decide if I can live without it. The version of Cinema I'm waiting for is a bit down the line, so I'll probably end up buying both (oh, and MangaStudio).

If I do, then my god, that's going to be my last CG purchase for a LONG time - it's costing a bloody fortune :-|

I'll probably start posting character designs first, then perhaps some pics.
