Acadia posted Sat, 18 March 2006 at 7:19 PM
I just turned 44 and biologically Sean Connery is old enough to be my grandfather!!! Ewww! He's not at all what I would consider "sexy". Way too old. Besides, most people get plastic surgery from the jaw up. You can bet from the jaw down he looks 76 years old :) Oh, and he admitted live on Barabara Walters some years ago that he beats his wife...and he was dead serious. He went on to explain why he does it...something about a woman needs to know her boundaries and there is nothing wrong with slapping her when she crosses over them.

Actors age, but their film performances don't. Which is why one might still consider Humphrey Bogart droolworthy, even though one might be seeing Rick, or Marlowe. Likewise, which Sean Connery, Alan Rickman, or Sean Bean? (and, for me, he got Boromir right) (And, for those differently inclined, substitute Lauren Bacall, Helen Mirren, or Honor Blackman.)
TrekkieGrrrl posted Sun, 19 March 2006 at 4:10 AM
Yeah Sean Connery has some weird ideas on how to behave. And I don't know if he's had plastic surgery or not but he still has this inexplainable "something" that makes age to something that doesnt' really matter. As does Alan. I mean, let's face it, the man just turned 60, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't abduct love to just SEE him live once. That "In Demand" video is awesome. I have the utmost urge to strangle Spiteri and take her place LOL
