OMG! If I did not already have it, I would buy it again!

Yowza. I was hoping for this after getting the Mil Cat bundle during the sale. Thanks!

Got this less than a month ago. Guess it's time to email sales for a refund of the difference. Oh well, more money to buy more goodies :) Any ETA on the furred dog? The cat is a SUPERB product so I'm waiting for that one; even bought the dog just for it :)

Arien, the furred dog has been slow due to the (unplanned) illness I got. But I am back to work on it again since a couple of days. It is slow, but progressing. :oP

A very interesting thing is that I've figured out a way to have the fur look very thick even on closeups. It takes 2x the time to set up but it looks sooooo good.
I also noticed that the tips of the hairs don't look good when texture is applied, so I found a way to combine hair nodes and texture to get the very fine hair tips.

This will require an update for the cat also I think. Free for all that owns it of course. But I want to get the wild dogs out the door first. :o)

That would be good. And I know no one "plans" an illness, except if you're a kid trying to skip a test. ;) I don't have immediate need for the dog (I did for the cat) so I'm not worrying, but I've been promoting to a few friends that have asked for wolves or similar, so I'm trying to keep up with the information for when they ask me (they do). The thicker, nicer fur sounds really good. I love the cat, have only used it once but the results were great. Having had to do another piece with the big cat, and having had to add all the "fuzz" to it by hand, I have to say I much, much prefer the idea of using dynamic hair for my future images; it looks SO much better! So count that I will be buying the dog when it comes out, and if you ever decide to tackle the big cat, most definitely too.

Tiny, I love the cats and can't wait for the dogs. I know you said that you may not do a golden retreiver soon or if ever but I do hope you change your mind. lol (no pressure) ;-) Here is a picture of one of the cats that I put on my desktop all the time. I just want everyone to know that these cats work really good and look great! There isn't any post work on this image and I don't do much poser and still, I think this image turned out great.

Wow Tereesa, that looks like my old cat (real one)!
The same "it's time to do some tricks to get some attention around here" - look. And then he starts sharpening his claws where he knows he shouldn't. :o)
Nice picture!

Tiny, do you need more doggie pics? I have one more here that has a gorgeous coat! LOL (She who has been drooling at the thought of furry shelties in the future)

Tiny posted Wed, 22 March 2006 at 12:12 PM

Oooh, how can anyone resists that cute creature! :o)
Is she all white besides the head?
Can't ever get too many cat/dog pictures. ;o)

If possible:
For fur: Head closeups from front and sides. Body front, sides, from rare, stomach, back, paws and whatever else you can think of. Preferably with indirect sunlight.
For breed (shape): Head closeups front and sides. Ears. Body standing from side and front/back, if possible level with camera. etc....

Send me a download link or send zipped picture packages max 5 Mb each to my email. I have changed email so PM me and I'll give it to you.
This goes for anyone wanting to share their pictures. :o)

Moonrose is doing the textures. She is so good at it!

DCArt posted Wed, 22 March 2006 at 12:35 PM

Do you still have the other sheltie pics I sent you? If not I still have them backed up somewhere. Bishop (a he) is probably 60-70@ white. There are scattered spots of silver gray on his sides, and then the color on his head. Other than that he's mostly white. He's a sweetie! LOL

Tiny posted Wed, 22 March 2006 at 1:18 PM

Yes I still have the other pictures. They are very good. :o)
I also sent them to Moonrose in case she needed any more for textures.
If you have the energy to add Bishop I'd appreciate it. But there is no hurry though. I can only work 1/4 of what I used to so it'll take time.
PM sent.

I'll be picking this up - I've wanted it for a while now and was hoping a sale would come. Patience paid off! Tiny, I cannot wait for the dog. I'm most definitely a dog-person. If I may ask (I'm sure you get this a lot) but do you have a border collie planned? And, if not, may I make a request? I can send you more images than you could probably stand, if needed :)
