I create an object in Anim8tor, export it to Poser 5, in setup room I create bones and save the object as a figure but still the description always holds that "prop" description since it was a prop before I saved it as a figure. if I just alter that word "prop" I screw up the whole file. How do I remo ve the prop references and make this object a true figure? Thanks for help. Marija

If the word prop is in the figure`s name then select the body of the figure and in object properties change the name to the one you want. Remember to save the figure back to the library to keep the changed name.

Scroll down nearly to the end of the CR2, direct after all the actors you will find a section that starts with: figure { name prop 1 Change the prop to the name you want. You can do this also with all the Unimeshes and other nameless figures so that they show up as V3, M3,... and no longer as figure 1, figure 2

My way is exactly the same, though it is done inside poser its self.

It might not be that but sometimes I notice that when you go in setup room, create the bone then go to Group Editor... the prop name shows up as a group in the Editor. If that is the case, delete this group then click on AutoGroup. You'll be left with only bone_1 group. In Pose Room, you can rename both in the Parameter menu.
