I am still working with Poser 4 and to be honest I am ready to upgrade to a newer version. Was looking on E Frontier and saw that they actually offer up 3 different versions of Poser. Poser Le, Poser Artist and Poser 6. I am totally confused and would appreciate any and all help you can give me about that would help me make up my mind. I am looking to upgrade my current version P4 (no propack) to a newer version. Have seen all the Dynamic Cloth models and like the idea of that along with the hair, but to be honest which is best for me. I am on a budget and would do the upgrade thing if possible. Much appreciate any and all responses.

Hi martyw,

First, Poser Artist is IDENTICAL to Poser 4 right down to the last byte. ;=]

Poser CE is a special version of Poser 6 with the Miki character included.

Unless you want the Miki character ... Poser 6 is really your only choice.

IMVHO.

Is it worth it?
................ Absolutely !!!

A fairly steep learning curve?
Um, yes ... perhaps, depending on with whom you speak. ;=]

Will you enjoy it? ....... Do enjoy Poser4?
There's your answer.

Thanks to Geep for the very helpful information, it is really appreciated. I would have hated to purchase Poser artist to be back were I started from. Will purchase Version 6 as you suggest. Characters are easy to build or purchase. Like you said the learning curve is steep, hopfully it comes with a manual like poser 4 did. Best reguards and thanks, Marty
