My son wants to do his Middle School multimedia project on Lewis & Clark with Poser. Something on one has ever done at his school to date. Does anyone know where to get these props and clothing? Thanks...

RuntimeDNA has a bunch of Western stuff. Clothing, buildings, hair, etc.
Also, check out renapd's store, here at Rosity. She's got some amazing Native American and "Mountain Man" stuff. Fringed jackets, Indian dresses, weapons, etc.

Word of caution regarding Greylight. I just got back, and I had to kill Firefox to do it.
The site is not maintained, and has been idle since 2001. It displays very oddly, probably because of this.
There are some interesting items in the freebies. No Frontier clothing I could find, but a few useful props, canteens and such. Some great P3 hair if you need it.
The clicking is buggy. For some pages, I would click and get a "Done" blank screen. I hit the back key, clicked again, and the page displayed. Not sure what's up there, but it's a nuisance.
The caution: When I tried to bookmark the home page, my bookmark window was "crushed" to a toolbar I could not grow. I tried again, and it was crushed to a larger toolbar that I could grow, but the fields were empty. I filled them and tried to open the drop-down list for bookmarks. It wouldn't work. I clicked Ok, and the window wouldn't close. I closed it with the 'x', went to my Back list, and none of the Greylight pages were listed. I could not get back to R'osity with a Back link.
I dunno what's up with all that, but I closed Firefox and re-opened it. I just ran a bunch of system tools yesterday, so I doubt if my machine was infected when I arrived at Greylight. I wonder if the site has been hijacked. In any case, I'll be running my checkup on the system again in a few minutes.

sorry 'bout that..I have a lot (about 2,000+ links) in the database, and if the site still shows up as working. Unlike many Poser sites, it's actually been up a number of years..;)

I don't have a problem accessing that site. I was there a few hours ago actually, and again just now. The site is fast and displays fine to me. I'm using Firefox-Mozilla browser.

Whatever happened to my browser could have been coincidental. I'm not a great believer in coincidence, though. Firewalls, security settings -- all sorts of stuff might make the site work for some, appear to work for others, or not work at all. In any case, I find this sort of thing worrisome. M
