Is it just me, or does everyone find the following : When you post more than 1 image in the gallery at a time, the one you thought was OK gets the most hits, while the one you loved gets the least? How do you create a thumbnail a gets loadsa hits? (Apart from giving a glmpse of nudity, putting the word 'nudity' on or wrtiting 'Syyd' over the top of it? LOL)

lol....Yeah, I have noticed the same. Hmm, I don't really know why that happens, and I wouldn't know how to make interesting thumbnails either, without showing someone's tits...my thumbnails are usually a selection of the photo, or the photo resized to 200x200 pixles...funny how some of my favourite photos have virtually no hits at all compared to those I don't like THAT much. It is strange..different people, different taste I suppose.

I agree with Marshmallowpie. Different people, different taste, and even different mood of that people when looking at the images. I dont think the trick is in the thumbnails. Arturo

I have to laugh...the surefire way is to show boobs, I wont do it...LOL....so I write my name, or I like to use eyes to engage the viewer....I had a hell of a time with that Ave Verum Corpus!!!!!

Guys, I put my name on all my images, I started doing it a long time ago......I feel embarrassed now. Lets all post an image synchronistically, of a breast with syyd written on it, and have it open up to something totally opposite LOL

Ok, just as my final two pennyworth - I've just done a quick review of my images. Most hits : Bryce render with naked girl coming out of toothpaste. Next : Caption,NO THUMBNAIL.....Duh.....Now what? LOL

I stopped doing female nudes because of this.....every time I get near a female full body poser render, I quit or don't post it...

dont you think it would be a riot......??????????? I am serious though the last nude I did was a while ago, because it was a very arty poser image, and nobody got it...

Secret behind getting the hits is teasing. Showing something that will arouse imagination. Red color is good one. Basically if you have deep, not too bright colors in your pic, include it to thumb. Show something intresting. Some detail that makes think, what the hell is this pic and why? One may have the most beautiful sunset, and the worlds most beautiful place where she/he proposed her/his wife, but when only rezising pic to 200pix, the thumb will look boring. And, at the thumbnail galleries, nobody really dont care about the names of pics, so words in thumb are good too. Stronger the word, bigger the intrest. Versionthirteen was the master of thumbs, sad he pulled his works away. .n ps. I'm using huge breasts and text "Syyd" written on 'em, works better than 1000 angry rabbits. Bigger the breasts, more the hits. Yeah.

Oh, and another thing: if you have two figures in your image, one is male and one is female.... for heaven's sakes, don't put the male face in the thumbnail :P I think I'll have to try that Syyd/breasts thing though ;D Of all the images I've posted so far, the one that got the most hits had a naked female stomach in the thumbnail. Go figure... It's sad, really, but what can I do? I am still going to keep making nude images if and when I feel like it, but I'm NEVER going to make a nude image for nudity's sake... shakes her head I don't really like "cheating" with the thumbnails and I'm getting a bit bored with that same old trick where you post a breast-thumbnail with the word nudity and then the image itself is something completely different. It was funny for a while and I LOVED Niko's cow, but now the joke doesn't really work anymore. Only annoys. Some of my images that I really liked myself didn't get many hits nor many comments, and I'm trying to tell myself that it doesn't really matter as long as I am happy with my work... but that's not totally honest now is it? Of course I love it when others view my work and like it... Anyway, I'm too tired to try to sound smart. I already forgot my original point... so... eh... goes to sit in the corner and shuts up

You dont have to go sit in the corner Outi....first of all your work is beautiful...Thats why I have taken to posting eyes...Because an eye is captivating...but Im bored with eyeballs myself...And you are smart, so you dont have to sound it.....now get some sleep...not in the corner though, you will get a bad neckache!

Help! My previous image DOES have a tit in the thumbnail! (Actually, two - Max has mighty sexy nipples, Syyd! ;) But that was for experimenting giggle My images never get to the Poser hot 20 list (not that it even matters, I think the list is rather useless) so out of curiousity I decided to test if the thumbnail actually has some effect on it.
