OK ...from all the posts in those threads, I come up with Natural Fractals as having 5 votes. Alphabet Soup 4 votes and becuase I vote Curves...that makes curves and circles 4 votes too. Do we all agree that Natural Fractals is the challenge this month??? Next month with the new forums the voting should be a lot easier to keep track of. Also we will have alll the suggestions reworked there was some good ones there..

Please provide a definition of "natural fracals" easy to understand in imaging photos. I had a suggestion in the thread on the subject. If I was confused by it, I do imagine others might be also. I look forward to this challenge. Tom.

forms or patterns that occur naturally in nature. sectioned fruit is one example and some plants appear to have fractal forms

I don't suppose a fractal of nature is the same as a natural fractal, eh? How about if I took a photo of it? :-) http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=891803&Start=127&Artist=Cosine&ByArtist=Yes Dennis

it has been said that fractals tend to imitate nature.
TomDart posted Sun, 02 April 2006 at 1:04 PM
Sometimes we try to imitate nature...too. How many fractions does it take to make a fracal? I have ideas already on this challenge. As always, the sum of images when all is done and posted should be very neat. The diverse pov's here work to make it happen.
