How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies
live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to
sea in a Sieve.

Nice postworks everyone. Gordon, that is one heck of a p/w. Nice one. OK, I've been sitting here for just under an hour trying to change the sky and gave up!! Could get a new sky in but around the palm tress was doing my head in. There must be an easy way, come on Gordon, please tell all, how did you do it so masterfully..... Steve
oldworld posted Tue, 04 April 2006 at 12:38 AM
i used an overlay effect and did some work with a layer mask...it works well if you have the right kind of sky (lights and darks in areas that don't interfere with the original subject)....in other words you probably wouldn't be able to duplicate it without the same sky...me thinks anyway :)
