I'm realy fed up with the dots.
Would it be possible for a Python script:

Might be tricky. Some things are easy (camera positions - SaveLibraryCamera + LoadLibraryCamera will do it, and selecting a camera from script is easy too), but I don't know if viewport configuration is accessible from Python.
The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

I don't think that's possible, all UI configuration is stored in the files in the prefs folder and they are only read at startup. Even if you manipulate them, you'd have to restart Poser. martin

Try the UI dots.
