Well I called the camera store up here and asked if they could take a look at it. They told me that they would have to send it to Nikon as there are no place around here that works on them where the waranty would be valid. Something like that. So looks like I will be without my camera for a while. I am so depressed. I will miss my camera. It has become part of me, I don't know what I will do without it. But at least it will be fixed and I can get back to playing and learning. Hope it doesn't take them too long to fix it. Thanks for all the advice. It really helped. Leigh

We will miss your works here. I hope youll get back your camera soon. I know how you must feel. A few years ago something like that happened to me and I had to be without my camera for two months. I ended up making a few stenopeic cameras with tobacco boxes, cookie boxes and cola cans... ;-) Im sure you will get your camera soon, leighp, so dont be depressed. I can imagine you the day you receive it... 150 photographs a day... ;-) Arturo

Heya, I hope this turns out quickly and well for you. There was a three or four month time gap in my Stone Magic series thanks to a buggy camera that I had to return. But I'd only had it a little while, then, when I was just starting photography. If that happened now... anyway, I sympathize and wish you well. Malenchite
