...does anyone else have stability problems when browsing and shopping at PoserPros? I can sometimes login, access the free-download forum and add items to my shopping cart, but am quite frequently kicked back out to the login prompt. I don't ever experience such problems accessing Renderosity, RuntimeDNA, DAZ or other sites. I don't want to buy there if I'm going to have problems accessing my downloads... Is it just me?

No...not just you. I have to login in repeatedly to do anything on that site. I can't even read the readme files anymore..they won't even open for me. Its a shame because there are some nice products there but it is almost too much trouble. Although if I do manage to make it the whole way to purchasing something I have never had problems with the downloads.

For some weird reason gallery images at PP aren't showing up when I log in either. Not my browser settings, doesn't work no matter which one I use. And since I'm not the only one with the problem, I think they're hosed again.

The gallery problem on PP is to do with the new style. If you go into your profile and go down to "Board Style", under preferences, selecting a style other than "BlueStylusP" should fix the problem.

Thanks, must see if it works for me. Edit: Whaddya know, it works! (But why do a style that turns things you do want to see invisible?)

The April Foolery theme is gone. For some reason it caused all sorts of headaches for all concerned. Felt like we'd played a prank on ourselves. As for the stability problems - this is not occurring for everyone. The suggestion is to logout. Delete all PP cookies and if you have saved passwords (like Firefox does) - delete those too. Relogin in so the cookie and saved passwords are reset. If you're still having problems after this. Email your browser/OS specs to us at storeadmin@poserpros.com and we'll check into it. The techs are looking into it right now but the more info we have the better.

Just a follow-up to my original post... Checking that little box under the login prompt ("Log me on automatically each visit") seems to have alleviated my constant log-off problem. After checking this box, I was able to stay on long enough to shop, buy and download my purchases. As for my computer settings, I'm currently using the library computer lab across from my apartment...it's a Windows XP network, but I don't tinker with any of the browser settings. PoserPros is the only site I've encountered troubles with, so they should get with standard network/browser specs.
