Hi everyone, I won a copy of Poser 6 in a contest and I would like to put it up for sale (fro one, I already have a copy and two, I am a starving student that could really use the money). It looks like it is going in ebay for about $160 + shipping, this is an electronic copy so there will be no shipping and I'll sell it for $140. Any questions, let me know. Best, MJ

I'm not sure you can legally sell a download version of a program. Also, there is a page on eFrontier that addresses resale of their products and it's a big no-no. I believe they've been having eBay auctions selling their products, shut down.

I actually have the coupon they gave me, so you will be able to go to the site, put it in your cart and then add the coupon, I tried it without purchasing the product and it put the price to $0... I hope I can sell it, thanks for the comment.

Errr, I'm not sure, but if it was a coupon and you tested it to see if it would work, then I doubt it can be used again, as you already redeemed it to test it.

I didn't actually redeem the coupon, I just entered it to see if it worked and then cancelled the shopping cart.

I purcahsed Poser 5 from a unsatified user, curious labs ( not sure if ef does it)had a transfer of license, again this was a boxed copy of the software, and filled out a tol form and mailed it in. I would contact e-f and ask them before selling it.

I bought Poser 5 on eBay from someone who bought it and didn't register it, so I was able to register it with no problem. I was also able to use it foe an upgrade to P6.

was that a boxed set, martian?

Yeah. But if his was never actually purchased or registered,(i.e., a coupon that has never been redeemed), then it should be ok, unless they specifically said that the coupon is not transferable.
