duncan_munro (#5) with 3 votes for his dark swamp scene. #21 had also 3 votes but I had to discard the last vote because it was posted after the deadline (it was my fault for not locking the thread this morning). Congratulations to everybody for submitting so many diverse views of forests. I will post duncan's idea for the next challenge as soon as possible.Elminster_ZK posted Mon, 03 April 2006 at 7:57 PM
Bravo duncan!

Ah what a bummer, I would've been tied for first if that vote had counted. O well, excellent picture Duncan.

Don't worry... there is still hope. If I don't hear from duncan soon, you will be the one to chose a theme for April :)

I received word from duncan ... his suggestion is "a sea-side summer holiday". It looks like we are going to move from the forest to the beach :) I will create a challenge page in a couple of days, after the forum migration to PHP.

Agiel:
The last contest for January, you felt not enough pictures were submitted. So, you extended it for for the entire month of February and I think (at most) 2 new pictures were submitted. Now, you don't close the contest for March on time, and we have a vote disallowed for being past the deadline. Please.. run the contest for the period stated, close it, and stop all this nonsense.

I know... and I apologize for the irregular schedule. I will try to get back on track.

Thanks Agiel: I know a lot is going on with you right now. I admire your patience and persistance in the job you do. I would not want it for all the money on earth. Just thought it would be easier and stop any complaints. Thanks for the good job you do and the all the crappola you must put up with..

Congratulations to duncan_munro (and to ShinyLeprechaun who sort-of tied). Just missed the vote as old arm problem meant no mousing.
