Andreas, I'm using firefox, and I can see your avatar but not the smilies. I don't know how to fix it, though:(

It looks like emoticons do not work in signatures.
I am using Firefox 1.5.0.1

Yes, they only work in the body of the message. I use Firefox too.

Yes, thank you. But I cannot see the emoticons from the body, I cannot see the avatars, the small icons categorzing the threads in the forum's thread overview, ... The beauty of the new forum is only seen with MSIE so far...

Hi Andreas, I am in Firefox v 1.0.6 and I can see the avatars, the thread and forum icons and the smileys in the body of the thread entries just fine. They don't seem to be working in the signature lines although someone did make reference to using html there to make links and call images, etc. Hope that helps, ~Vivian

Problem is solved now :biggrin: My Adblock plus extension to Firefox - normally a very helpful tool!!!! - just did it's job too good. Now I can see the avatars etc. again :-)
