OMG!! Way tooo cute! My youngest cat loves to lay in the bathroom sink when I'm in the bathroom. Even a dripping tap didn't stop her, LOL

Yup!! Dogs have been able to be bred to retain "puppy" tendencies. This has not (apparantly) been able to be achieved with cats. The difference between cats and dogs can be summed up fairly quickly: Dogs: "Woof!" = (I'm enjoying ths game) + "Woof" (I want next game). (Occasionally "Growl", = not sure I understand this, but better look like I'm dangerous.) Cats: (silent, mostly, apart from the occasional "meow") = Drat! Where's the food? Drat! I need a warm place to curl up and go to sleep by. Drat! I NEED to kill something (preferably small and defenceless)... Oh, and the "Purr", when they get what they want (for as long as it suits them) Cheers, Diolma (Who loves both species..)

It's all about pack instinct. Cats are solitary animals for the most part, and they simply "tolerate" us humans. Affection is given and received on their terms and if you try and force the issue you'll usually end up with a hand full of teeth or claws, lol

PRICELESS!! As for the pack-instinct, I think it depends at least partially of the breed. We have 3 cats. the two of them, one siamese, one Oriental (which are basically just different coloured siamese) always lie close together, while the last one, an abyssinian, never mingles with the boys. Granted, she's a female, and in her own opinion HIGH above their level. She's the QUEEN - and she knows it G (BTW: They're sleeping on the above pic)
